The Porter NP6 will be the star of Piaggio's presentation at Transpotec: a compact, high-performance, eco-friendly city truck, the ideal partner for the urban mission.
Powered by exclusively bifuel units - LPG or CNG, depending on the customer's preference - Porter NP6 moves easily in city traffic thanks to the compact dimensions provided by the slim cab, making it quick and easy to move and stop and, last but not least, reducing work time. The technical layout of the vehicle (chassis with side frames, rear-wheel drive, choice of four wheelbases - two on a single wheel and two on twin wheels - power take-off on the gearbox, option of a short axle ratio) makes the Porter NP6 the best performer in its category (up to 1.6t payload on 2.8t mtt) and guarantees a remarkably wide range of configuration flexibility which, in the case of logistics, can exceed a useful load volume of 9 cubic metres.
On the Piaggio stand, in Hall 18, it will be possible to see a chassis and three vehicles fitted out by bodyworkers who have developed examples of "tailor-made" solutions that best meet the diversified needs of last mile delivery. Two projects will focus on the handling of goods at room temperature, presenting different and original volumes and technical solutions, and the third on refrigerated transport.
