The "Stati Generali" of road Transport will open the event, that this year broads its topics with safety, logistic, inter-modality and environmental impact
 
Transpotec 2.0, the Exhibition dedicated to transport and planned in Milan, in the Exhibition Centre of Rho Pero, from the 19th to the 21st of November, widens its horizons: it will also concern Public Administration, thanking the thematic areas dedicated not only to road transport, but to society and sustainable development.
 
The three thematic areas - urban logistic, environmental impact and safety - are enriched by expert task-force moments, focused on formation and qualification and also concerning dangerous and oversize-weight loads.
 
Referring to logistic, there will bring experinces and remarks related to the distribution management in urban areas (traffic restrictions and suburban zones for first), analysing the most recent proposals and tendencies. The whole weaving factory will be involved, from the exchange areas (inter-modal one, port one, logistic pole and so on) to the "last mile"; there will be presented all the different approaches to urgent requires for a reduction of urban and environmental impact.
 
In fact, logistic in transports is strictly connected to the request of less and less of harmful substance emissions and carbon dioxide. Road transport, which has always been considered at fault, defends itself by the commercialization of lower environmental impact engines - euro 6 -, that represent the highest expression of technology by now.
 
Safety: this year is the deadline given by UE in order to halve accidents and mortality rate, so transport culture wonders about the mediums to fill the gap between targets and results. These topics will be pretty well faced in Transpotec 2.0, thanks to the contribution of control organizations, infrastructures managers, users and builders.
 
Finally, a great fleet of vehicles will be available to be tested during the exhibition, and a lot of collateral events will involve the whole Milano City.
