Ubiquity and teamwork key values for logistics

Teamwork, extensive networking and shared objectives. These are the special features that enable a haulier to guarantee the highest standards and get deliveries anywhere. Melissa Alberti, Managing Director of Pallex Italy, shares her experience.

What are the values that guide a transport company’s choices and how important are they to guarantee the end customer a reliable service? Melissa Alberti, Managing Director of Pallex Italia, a company that will attend the upcoming Transpotec Logitec, explained this.

"I believe that Pallex Italia's values are necessary for the success of any company. Teamwork and shared goals are a key element for success. In particular, in our case, the customer is treated in the same way by everyone: the dealer who delivers his colleague's goods treats them exactly the same as his own customer. It means sharing our values and having very good teamwork."

What are the advantages of relying on a European network?

"The network differs from the individual haulier precisely because it includes a group of companies with extremely important territorial coverage, not only in Italy but also in the rest of Europe. And wherever the goods are headed, there are universal management rules, with a computer system and real-time information. And this makes it possible to have the same service everywhere with a regularity that a single haulier can hardly achieve, wherever the goods are destined."
