From logistics to new employment prospects, from sustainability to NRRP potential: training events at Transpotec Logitec will take stock of paramount market topics, enabling dialogue with industry experts and institutions.

Organised in collaboration with the industry’s key associations and media, a vast array of training sessions will enhance Transpotec Logitec 2022's programme of events.

From integrated logistics to new employment prospects, from sustainable transport to NRRP-related opportunities, the information and training offer will provide an opportunity to take stock of the market and open a constructive dialogue between the market and institutions.

The Sustainable Tour is coming back to Transpotec: the event, organised by EvenT for the first leg of 2022, will focus on development potential related to the NRRP funds allocated for energy transition. Also by EvenT, an event focused on commercial transport profitability and safety in terms of the upgraded towed fleet.

Meanwhile Uomini e Trasporti - Federservice chose Transpotec to reflect on market development and transformation, as seen through the statistics that have emerged over 100s of issues of their magazine.

The Logistic Village - organised by DB Information - with magazines Logistica&Trasporti and Parts Truck alongside the FIAP - Federazione Italiana degli Autotrasportatori Professionali [Italian Federation of Transport Workers] - from Thursday to Saturday, will feature daily discussions. The unifying theme across the extensive programme is sustainability, taking shape in three forms: economic, environmental and social. Topics on the agenda include: improving efficiency and effectiveness of corporate action; monitoring and managing costs; the end of the oil economy with the advent of new fuels; the need to account for emissions in order to figure out how to reduce carbon footprints through renewed processes; and finally evaluating emerging needs within relations between companies in transport and logistics’ “extended supply chain”, with a focus on social relations. Tackling these will be academics, experts and institution and company representatives, providing participants with the knowledge and experience that are key to understanding as well as useful tools for facing future commitments.

Plus, the Aftermarket Village, organised by DBInformation - with Parts magazine, will add to the spare parts, accessories, equipment, tools, lubricants and truck services it offers with vertical industry reflections held inside on the first day of the exhibition.

Assotrasporti together with Eumove, 7 Consulting, Bureau Veritas, TN-TrasportoNotizie and GM-GenteInMovimento will reflect on the current state of logistics and its development, centred around five key issues companies face today: health and safety at work; safety along the supply chain in order to identify potential risks and implement preventative measures; road safety; and social responsibility and sustainability.

Transpotec is also hosting a series of sessions focusing on the territory, sponsored by Assotrasporti. A chance to pick up on requests, ideas, complaints and offers from hauliers, owner-operators and drivers, and logistics operators themselves, which can be used to compose the programme later presented to institutions.

Finally, there will also be robust, quick professional training sessions, such as the Transpotec Academy by EvenT. Aimed at transport workers and focused on topics of specific interest that go into depth on the new skills needed in logistics, the Transpotec Academy will offer two one-hour events each day, each addressing different topics: an introduction to logistics; the role of outsourcing; the evolution of the warehouse; the control tower; monitoring management in companies; Incoterms; the cold chain; and transport, shipping and logistics contracts.
