And yet the most recent trucks, designed for safety and sustainability with ever more advanced technologies, are making trucking more specialised than ever before, very different from the media stereotype.
But it's not just this misleading image, but also the high cost of getting a license and CQCs that turn people away, while fleets and logistics managers are always on the look out for competent, educated and smart staff, able to handle logistics platforms and increasingly digitalised vehicles.
To promote the recruitment of new professionals, Transpotec Logitec has come together with the trade magazines Trasporto Commerciale and Camion SuperMarket to launch the Transpotec Trucker School at the next exhibition. This project, which culminates during the exhibition itself, will provide young would-be truckers with the opportunity to get their C license free of charge.
