With a 1,600-square-metre exhibition space at Transpotec, Scania will exhibit their world premiere of new generation 13-litre heavy goods vehicles alongside their entire range of vehicles contributing to the transport industry’s gradual decarbonisation.
There will even be a space dedicated to engines with industrial applications, test vehicles in the outdoor area and events at Scania’s stand that will aim to provide insight into how the continuous development of Scania's product range and services is already driving the change towards a sustainable future.
“The world of transport is changing rapidly and at Transpotec 2022 we’ll demonstrate how, through Scania's determination to pursue decarbonisation and sustainability goals, Scania’s products and services have evolved to reach even greater levels of excellence”, says Enrique Enrich, Chairman and CEO of Italscania. “For Scania, efficiency and sustainability don’t just mean electric or hybrid solutions. In the new 13-litre HGV range, we’ve redesigned the entire powertrain and modular chassis architecture to further reduce fuel consumption by at least 8%, improving uptime, productivity and the driving experience. Here and now, Scania Super is the next generation of HGVs for a wide range of applications”.
