Thanks to our collaboration with a team of experts, working in synergy with the major players in the sector, Fiera Milano has recently been working on the preparation of a “Protocol for the containment of the spread of the new coronavirus” setting out concrete guidelines which will be applied during Logitec 2021, in full compliance with current regulations.
These measures include the use of digital booking and gate technologies; entrance will be permitted only following a body temperature check, and the use of facemasks will be obligatory in situations in which social distancing is not possible.

In addition, using multiple touch points using new technologies (IoT, Data Analytics, Cloud, Mobile App), the centre has equipped itself with tools to ensure a completely safe visit to the exhibition: 80 high resolution LED-walls will provide information for visitors and exhibitors; a heatmap will enable geolocation inside the centre and monitor flows and routes to ensure better interaction between buyers and exhibitors while guaranteeing distancing; the new exhibition centre app will not only amplify the visitor's experience, but provide services like a new wayfinding system, fast track, parking space booking and food serving.
